D16y8 Engine Build Pt. 1
Personal project a 2001 Honda Civic with an engine built with b series H beams, vitara pistons, and turbo. I originally set the cylinders loose just to be safe and come to find out, the pistons did not like it. They rattled a little on a cold start but would quiet once up to temperature. But the rattling took a toll on the cheap pistons. So before disassembly the compression was checked. 1=110 2=80 3=80 and 4=30. Needless to say there was quite a bit of blow by or as I was calling it "rust proofing".
